Al-Qastal's Internet cafe is relatively new but it is very well equipped. The 20 PCs are in two spaces (lounge and room). 13 machines run Win98, the rest are Win95. All have 15" monitors and are connected via a 64K leased line. A number of the workstations are multimedia ready. Printing, webcams, scanning and copying are available for small extra fees. You can get most snacks, candy bars, drinks and cigarettes. If you don't like smoking, you can choose the non-smoking room. There are two restrooms (W.C units) inside. Al-Qastal has reasonable space and great view (from the lounge). A CD library is available as well.

Data collected during a PN visit to Al-Qastal Internet Cafe

Please let us know if you'd like your restaurant/cafe included here.
Basically, we are going to list restaurants, cafe's and Internet cafe's which are ready and equipped to serve tourists and other visitors to Palestine (academic, business, news reporters etc)
We are compiling a digital guide for Internet cafe's to be published on Palestine-Net. This guide covers all Internet cafe's (cyber clubs) in Palestine operated by Palestinians. If your cafe' is not listed, it's probably because we are not aware of it, so please drop us a line and let us know. See under "questions and comments" to the left.
