Al Abed Internet Cafe is one of the new cafe's opening in Ramallah. We found a nice setup with 10 machines running win98 with MS natural keyboards and 17" monitors. We were told that machines have advanced applicatons software installed with partial UPS support. All machines have zip drives and each is in a seperate booth providing a good degree of privacy. Al Abed serves hot drinks and is planning more in the future. The staff person we talked to was not sure of speed but it was reasonably fast. Smoking is allowed and a w.c. unit exists inside.

Data collected during a PN visit to Al Abed Internet Cafe

Please let us know if you'd like your restaurant/cafe included here.
Basically, we are going to list restaurants, cafe's and Internet cafe's which are ready and equipped to serve tourists and other visitors to Palestine (academic, business, news reporters etc)
We are compiling a digital guide for Internet cafe's to be published on Palestine-Net. This guide covers all Internet cafe's (cyber clubs) in Palestine operated by Palestinians. If your cafe' is not listed, it's probably because we are not aware of it, so please drop us a line and let us know. See under "questions and comments" to the left.
